By all means take your camera and a good supply of film. You can buy film anywhere you go, but it is much more expensive than at home. You will have ample opportunity to take as many pictures or movies as you wish. Number your film cartridges as you take them and keep a running record of your shots. It will help you identify them when you get home.

The x-ray machines now used in most airport security checks do not damage film. However, if it will make you feel more confident, you can buy a lead-lined bag in which to store your film at most photographic stores.
