Creative Travel Partners, Inc. Dear Larry & Mira: We arrived back safely from our trip and I wanted to share some thoughts with you. This was probably the best trip I have ever led. It was more of a pilgrimage than a trip! Part of that is due to the itinerary you had set up. Another factor was the Christian guides we had along the way (Khader Mascobi did an especially good job). They gave us time for personal devotion and reflection at many of the sites. The time in and around Jerusalem was especially nice. For example, on one day we started out reading the ascension account from Acts 1 on top of the Mount of Olives, heard the Lord's Prayer in Aramaic at the Pater Noster Church, read the Gethsemane account in Mk. 14 by the oldest olive tree in the Garden and had time for private prayer in the Church, read the Christmas story from Lk.2 in the cave below the Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem, read the Pentecost account in Acts 2 at the Upper Room, and read Ps. 88 in the holding cell in Caiaphas' house below the Church of St. Peter Gallicantu and walked on the steps that Jesus would have walked upon to enter Jerusalem. My group felt that it was an unforgettable day! We also went to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre three mornings in a row on our own at 5:30 am (and got back for breakfast!). We felt completely safe everywhere we went. The Egypt staff was also extremely hospitable and bent over backwards to make us feel welcome. All in all, everyone in the group keeps saying that it was a wonderful trip! Thank you again, Larry and all the staff, for helping to give us such a spiritual and meaningful experience. Sincerely,
