Dr. Wilbur Glenn Williams
Indiana Wesleyan University
Dr. Wilbur Glenn Williams will begin his 44th year as a professor of Old Testament at Indiana Wesleyan University this coming Fall Semester. He has taught over 15,500 students in his career. He has been awarded nine times as "Professor of the Year" by the student body, the most recent being the last three years. The university has also selected him as "Professor of Excellence" by the administration. This Spiritual Odyssey wil be 144th tour of the Bible Lands, mostly to Israel. His career spans now into the 5th decade.
For 40 years he has worked on Archaeological excavations, mostly in Israel, on such digs as Arad, Carthage, Aphek, Jerusalem, Lachish, Jezreel, Megiddo and Hazor. Many travel, but few get to hear in-depth Bible Teaching. As a result of this tour, your knowledge will explode into new areas of understanding and new levels of appreciation. Please plan to join Dr. Williams on this most unique Odyssey. As a skilled dramatist, you may see him role-playing such Old Testament people as Abraham, Moses, Kind David or the prophet Samuel. Dr. Williams was the Managing Editor of Higley Press and published 13 yearly volumes of Sunday School Commentaries. He has written a commentary of "Genesis," and also has a book on the 10 Commandments entitled "Finding Your Maximum Happiness," and a book of Religious Poetry called "From Sand to Glass."
In 2005 he was honored by the Governor of Indiana as a "Distinguished Hoosier," and by the Ministry of Tourism of Israel for his many tours. Dr. Williams is a cherished Professor, a respected guide, a sacrificial servant (he has taught for the last 15 years for $1.00 a year). He and his wife have funded a small 12th century Gothic Prayer Chapel, and 4 life-size bronzes of Jesus and John Wesley on the campuses of Indiana Wesleyan and Southern Wesleyan Universities.
“As a result of traveling to the Greece & Journeys of Paul, the Holy Lands, your Bible knowledge will explode into new areas of understanding and new levels of appreciation.”

“There is no substitute for working with people of great integrity who are also experts. I appreciate the ease of calling on a toll free line and sharing my question with someone ‘live.’ Your promptness in answering questions and sending out needed materials, allows me to be a better tour organizer and host.”
