Creative Travel Partners, Inc. Travel / Study tour of England and Scotland Dear Larry: I am pleased to recommend the work of Larry Marcus and his staff at Creative Travel Partners. This May was my fourth travel/study tour of England and Scotland, all planned by Larry's competent team. And this year was the best for several reasons. First, I was able to trust his negotiating skill with the tour people on the ground in England. The tour company we used has excellent contacts and hotel arrangements so we were able to book places in our price range for university students yet in locations of my own choosing to make the best use of our time. The tour guide we were required to have accompany us in England, even though I and my colleague are university professors and planned the itinerary, was exceptionally helpful, well-versed in the sites we wanted to see, and took care of many details that would have frazzled us and detracted from our oversight of the students. As an example, I left my camera in a restaurant in Bath. The on-board guide worked with me to locate it and then have it shipped ahead to London for my use. The flight schedule was arranged well in advance by Larry, and then modified to our advantage as time of departure drew closer, and our actual number of travellers became firm. Two of my students needed to extend their stay and the changes were made flawlessly. The rest of us found all the arrangements, from meeting us at the plane, to getting us safely back to the airport on our morning of departure from Heathrow, efficient and reliable. The paperwork required for getting payments made, all the required information about each student's status recorded in good order, and various other details that are so necessary to effective travel arrangements were all carried out with no hitch. Even though I teach here in California, the issue of distance from the main office in Illinois was not a problem thanks for email and phone contact.
