Dear Larry, Vicki, Mira:
Just a note from eighteen of us to report on our latest tour of
Israel and Turkey. It was a great tour. As always
Creative Travel did far more than expected. You are the best. Forgive
us for sometimes just taking for granted your extra efforts to
assure us of great tours.
This time you had to do some never before things for me. Eight
of my group decided that they wanted to break up the long first-leg
of the flight so you arranged for them to go to Istanbul on the
15th and join the rest of us there on the 17th. Somehow you did
that for $185 extra including transportation from the airport to
the hotel, breakfast and lodging. Made us all want to go early
if it could have been possible.
There were a few hiccups in travel due to Chicago being snowed
in and our flight from Atlanta being cancelled. But Mira, American
Air, Turkish Air, United Air and the Good Lord got us to Chicago
in time to make our international connection. Hectic but successful.

Regarding the tour. It was all we could have expected and more.
Our guide, David Beradt whom I always use, was unbelievable as
usual. Sam our bus driver was great. I chose not to go to Bethlehem
as we were going immediately after the assassination of Sheikh
Ahmed Yassin. We could have but I chose not to take the chance
of exposing my people to street tension. Other than that we would
not have known anything was going on if we had not had a TV. Anyone
who has ever been realizes that 98 percent of Israel is always
in their daily normal routine and yet that two percent get 98 percent
of the news here. A great time in Israel and I am already planning
my 13th trip next year.
This was my third time in Turkey. Yigit (Yet), our guide was tremendous.
He speaks better English than I do. Met us in Istanbul and never
left us until he had seen us on the plane the 28th. We always add
an extension that the entire group joins. If I leave with them
I want to return with them. Turkey is a favorite because it takes
Jesus and the Gospel into the rest of the world. The weather for
the entire tour was perfect and Turkey (Biblical Asia Minor) was
a great addition.
Thanks again for helping us far beyond anything expected. You are
the best and we look forward to working with you again next year.
