Dear Creative Travel Partners,
I just returned from a fantastic (and historic) trip from Israel
and Jordan. I was privileged to lead a wonderful
group of 26 others for a 10 day Israel tour as well as a unique
5 day extension to Jordan and the southern regions of Israel. Once
again, the trip was a fantastic experience for all. You did a wonderful
job in making the arrangements for us all. With this being my 8th
trip I have led to Israel and other biblical regions, I look forward
to making many more with you!
About the trip itself, there was never a time when we felt unsafe.
From the Galilee, to the Golan Heights, to Jerusalem, to Jordan,
and everywhere in between, we felt the warmth and hospitality of
Israelis, Palestinians, and Jordanians alike. They were all so
friendly to us. We felt completely safe not only while touring
from site to site, but also all the "extra" morning and
evening walks I led in and around Jerusalem. As I mentioned already,
this trip was "historic" in that we were in Jordan when
Mr. Arafat died. Even with this event taking place, there was never
a time when we felt unsafe because of it. In fact, all seemed quite "normal" despite
of this historic happening.
As the tour leader, it was exciting to see how such a trip like
this impacted each of our travelers. The trip certainly impacted
each of our lives with not only offering us new insights into the
land and culture of the Bible, but also inspiring us as followers
of Christ. I know that hearts were touched in special ways!
I look forward to the 2 trips I plan to lead to Israel in 2005
(Feb/March, and November). I am confidently thankful to you as
travel agents for the arrangements you will once again provide
