DAY 01 – DEPART USA
Our journey of a lifetime begins with a late afternoon departure on via British Airways. After take-off, we will be served dinner and breakfast.

DAY 02 – ARRIVE TEL AVIV/ TIBERIA
After a brief touchdown in Zurich, we board our connecting flight to Tel Aviv. We arrive Tel Aviv in the early afternoon. Upon arrival at Ben Gurion Airport our agent who assists us through customs and security will meet us. We are transferred to our motor coach and continue to Tiberias for dinner and overnight.

DAY 03 – GALILEE FULL DAY SIGHTSEEING
Nothing is quite as spectacular as a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee, which will be the start of our day. From here, we move to Capernaum, our Lord's hometown for two years. The Mount of Beatitudes over looks the crystal blue waters of the lake and provided a perfect setting for Jesus' most famous sermon. We continue our drive from 687 feet below sea level into the Golan Heights. Arriving at the base of Mt. Hermon and stop at Banyas, the Caesarea Phillippi of the Bible, main water source for the Jordan River. Following a full day of sightseeing we will return to the kibbutz for dinner and overnight.

DAY 04 – TIBERIAS - CROSS SHEIK HUSSEIN BRIDGE - JERASH MT.NEBO – KING’S HIGHWAY - PETRA
Following breakfast at our hotel, we depart Tiberias today to Jordan via the Sheik Hussein Bridge We than continue to the Greco Roman City of Jerash (Gerasa in ancient times), known as the Pompeii of the East for its extraordinary state of preservation. As they approach the city, visitors are greeted by the imposing triple arched gateway built to honor the emperor Hadrian's arrival at Jerash in A.D. 129. We make our way to Mount Nebo where it is believed to be the tomb of Moses. It is a lonely, windswept hill. Protecting the ruins of a 4th and 6th Century church whose floor is still covered with marvelous mosaics, is a building constructed by the Franciscans who started excavating the site in 1933. We continue to Petra for dinner and over night.

DAY 05 – PETRA - AMMAN
We depart to Petra, "rose red city half as old as time." This ancient Edomite and Nabatean capital is an amazing example of prophecy. We'll see the Spectacular "city of the dead," with its famed gorge, ancient streets, Temples, dwelling places and tombs, carved in the solid rock. Then we arrive at El-Ji Post, and continue the one-mile journey on horseback, or walk, passing through the famous Siq (the natural gorge) and arrive at the Treasury. In the afternoon, we visit Roman Temple Ruins of Roman City, Nabatean Judgment Hall, Palace Tombs, famous Urn Temple, and Roman Amphitheater. Those willing to climb may view the Monastery; Jebel Harun (mountains of Aaron) supposed to be the burial place of Aaron. Horseback journey back to El-Ji Post and we then we transfer to our motor coach and continue to Amman for dinner and overnight.

DAY 06 – AMMAN – DEAD SEA - ALLENBY BRIDGE – JERICHO – QUMRAN –DEAD SEA - JERUSALEM
This morning we will visit the original Baptismal site on the Jordanian River. We will have time to have a Baptismal Service. We now continue to King Hussein Bridge and leave Jordan for Israel. We drive to Jericho for lunch, take the cable car to the monastery on the Mount of Temptation, see the Jericho Valley and wilderness, and review the temptations of Jesus and then travel to Schechem (Jacob's Well - John 4, 1-42) after which we go the Dead Sea, the lowest spot on the earth. We will have time to enjoy a relaxing swim in the Dead Sea. Continue to Jerusalem for dinner and overnight.

DAY 07 – JERUSALEM- MT OF OLIVE - TEMPLE MT- VIA DOLOROSA - BETHLEHEM
We begin our explorations with a drive to the beautiful Mt. Of Olives to behold the breathtaking panorama of the Holy City. Our pilgrimage will proceed to the Church of Ascension, descend to Gethsemane with its ancient olive grove, and there visit the Church of Agony, where tradition holds that Jesus prayed. We will enter Jerusalem through the Dung Gate, and walk to the holiest site in the whole Jewish world, the Western Wall (Wailing Wall) of Herod's temple. Beyond the wall likes the 35-acre temple area purchased by King David (2 Sam. 24:18-25). On this site now stands the magnificent Dome of the Rock (the third holiest shrine in all Islam) and the El Aksa Mosque. From the temple area, we make our way to St. Stephen's Gate, St. Anne's Crusader Church, Pools of Bethesda, the Sister of Zion Convent (to see the Pavement where Jesus stood as he was being tried by Pilate), Ecco Homo Arch, and then follow the Via Dolorosa to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre and the ancient Cardo. This afternoon we will pass by Rachel's tomb on the outskirts of Bethlehem, and visit the Church of the Nativity and Shepherd's Field. You will be fascinated by your visit to a model of Jerusalem near the Holyland Hotel (1 to 50 scale model of Herodian Jerusalem as it would have appeared in Jesus' time), Israel's Knesset, the huge bronze Menorah, and Yad Vashem.

DAY 08 – JERUSALEM - THE UPPER ROOM/ISRAEL MUSEUM / GARDEN TOMB
We begin the day by driving to Ein Karem village, the birthplace of John the Baptist, to see the Church of Visitation, and then go to Mt. Zion, The Upper Room, where Jesus spent those last momentous hours with his disciples before his passion, and it was also here where the Holy Spirit came upon the disciples on Pentecost. From there we will go to the Israel Museum, including the Bronfman Archaeological Museum and the Shrine of the Book Museum, where the Dead Sea Scrolls are displayed. Late in the afternoon we will visit the Garden Tomb: Communion service if desired.

DAY 09 – JERUSALEM / DAY AT LEISURE
Today is at leisure. Time to collect your thoughts, indulge in your whims. Revisit the places of most interest. The Rockefeller and Hebrew Museums display a wealth of archeological treasure. Return for a last look within the walls of the Old City, where bargaining is a must. Dinner and overnight Jerusalem

DAY 10 – JERUSALEM / TEL AVIV/ USA
Early morning transfer to the airport for our return flight home. The close of an unforgettable tour, we bring with us lasting memories of the Old and New Testament, a renewal of our faith, and a greater understanding of the life and ministry of our Lord
