DAY 01 – DEPART NORTH AMERICA
Tour members depart on our flight to Europe. After take-off we will be served dinner.

DAY 02 – GENEVA / MONTREUX
Upon arrival at Geneva airport, we are met by our tour escort. We board our private motorcoach and enjoy a city tour of Geneva including the United Nations, Red Cross, World Council of Churches and the landmark of Geneva, the Jet d'Eau (water fountain). We will see the reformation monument, the old town with its many antique shops and art galleries, the Town Hall and St. Peters Cathedral. Continue to Montreux. Check in at your hotel. Welcome dinner at the hotel and overnight.

DAY 03 – MONTREUX / BROC / GRUYERES / GSTAAD
After we enjoy our buffet breakfast, we aboard our motorcoach and begin our morning sightseeing tour along the lake to Chillion Castle, where we will take time for a visit. Continue to Broc for a visit of the Nestle chocolate factory (Video presentation and chocolate tasting). Drive on to Gruyeres, world famous for its cheese. This fortified little town lies on top of a hill in a landscape full of grace and harmony. Visit a model cheese diary and enjoy some time at leisure. Early afternoon drive along the Sarine river to Gstaad, the refuge of many celebrities. Time at leisure. Drive across the Golden Pass into the Rhone valley with its orchards and vineyards and back to Montreux. Evening at leisure. Overnight in Montreux.

DAY 04 – TAESCH / ZERMATT
After breakfast, we leave Montreux in the morning through the Rhone valley to Taesch where we board our mountain train for Zermatt, the resort at the foot of the world famous Matterhorn mountain. Transfer and check in at the hotel In the afternoon OPTIONAL trip to Gornergrat mountain (10,272 ft.) is recommended for an unforgettable view of the Matterhorn and other mountain peaks and glaciers. Tonight we enjoy dinner together. Overnight in Zermatt.

DAY 05 – GLACIER EXPRESS / ST. MORITZ
After breakfast, we will enjoy an exciting and unforgettable train ride with the "Glacier Express" including lunch. The Glacier Express is a romantic 150 mile narrow gauge railway. The trip through 91 tunnels, viaducts and over 291 bridges is spent in comfortable railway coaches, passing through lovely mountain valleys, wild and picturesque canyons, glaciers and snow covered peaks. Arrive late afternoon in St. Moritz. Transfer and check in at our hotel. Evening at leisure. Overnight in St. Moritz.

DAY 06 – ST. MORITZ / MUOTTAS MURAGL
Buffet breakfast. Morning at leisure to discover the beautiful Engadine valley on your own. Late afternoon take a short drive along Lake St. Moritz to Pontresina, a typical Engadine resort in a colorful setting of forests and mountains. Board the funicular for Muottas Muragal (8,055 ft.) and admire the Alpine scenery with its glaciers and peaks and lakes. Sunset dinner at Muottas Muragal. Overnight in St. Moritz.

DAY 07 – ST. MORITZ / CHUR / VALDUZ / LUCERNE
After breakfast, we board our motorcoach and leave St. Moritz across the scenic Julier Pass into the Albula and Rhine valley to Chur, capital of the Grison. We will enjoy a City tour of the old town with its many painted houses, the splendid cathedral and the bishop palace. Continue along the Rhine River to the Principality of Liechtenstein for the visit of its tiny capital of Vaduz below the Prince's castle. Time to write and send postcards to your stamp collecting friends. Continue along Lake Walen to Lucerne. We check in to our hotel. Evening at leisure. Overnight in Lucerne.

DAY 08 – LUCERNE
After breakfast, we begin with a morning city sightseeing tour of Lucerne. We discover the Old Town with its quaint streets and squares, busy markets places and decorated houses. Walk across the wooden Chapel Bridge with its unique historical paintings. Visit the Old Town Hall, the Jesuit Church and the Lion Monument. In the Afternoon OPTIONAL excursion to Mount Pilatus: Short bus transfer to Kriens to ascend by gondolas and cable car to the top of Mount Pilatus (7,000 ft.) Time at leisure to enjoy the breathtaking panoramic views. Board the world's steepest rack railway to Alpnachstad and return by boat to Lucerne. Tonight we enjoy dinner together at our hotel. Overnight in Lucerne.

DAY 09 – LUCERNE / BERNE
After breakfast, we begin our full day sightseeing with a drive along Lake Lucerne and across the Bruenig Pass into the Bernese Oberland, a region of high Alps with glaciers and lakes. We will stop at the woodcarvers village of Brienz to have a look in a workshop. Continue along Lake Brienz through Interlaken, the elegant resort and center of the Bernese Oberland and along Lake Thun to Berne, the romantic capital of Switzerland. See the arcades Old Town with its splendid Gothic cathedral, the famous Clock Tower with the figure play and the House of Swiss Parliament. Return to Lucerne via the Emmental (home of the famous Swiss Cheese) and Entlebuch valleys Evening at leisure. Overnight in Lucerne.

DAY 10 – LUCERNE / LUGANO
After breakfast, we begin our full day sightseeing tour along the scenic shores of Lake Lucerne through the villages of Weggis, Vitznau and Brunnen to Fluelen and Altdorf. We will stop at William Tell's monument. It is here that William Tell is supposed to have shot at the apple on his son's head. We continue across the Alps through the Gotthard Tunnel to the Ticino (Southern Switzerland) and Lugano. Enjoy a walking sightseeing tour through the arcaded old town with its quaint narrow streets. See the many little stores, often outside on the street and the numerous fountains. Visit the Romanesque church of St. Mary, a former convent. View the splendid frescoes by Bernadino Luini (1475-1532). We will have some time to stroll along the lakeside promenade before returning late afternoon to Lucerne. Tonight we enjoy a special Swiss folklore show and Fondue dinner at the Lucerne Casino. Overnight in Lucerne.

DAY 11 – LUCERNE / NORTH AMERICA
After breakfast, we transfer to Zurich Airport for our return flight homeward.
